HAVE YOUR VOICE HEARD ON ISSUES PERTAINING TO US AS MEDICAL STUDENTS.
MSSBU and MAD Global Health would like to invite everyone to come and discuss important issues facing us as medical students, grab a free feed and upskill yourselves.
The Australian Medical Student Association, as the peak representative body for medical students have numerous policies on the table
WHAT IS A THINK TANK?
A think tank is an opportunity for us as Bondies to make our voice heard on policies presented by AMSA. We take these AMSA policies and critique them, to ensure we are represented when it comes time for Council #1 in Sydney. It also ensures your AMSA Reps can vote for the policies based on the university consensus.
Policies for discussion are:
1. Campus Health
2. National Barrier Exam
3. Student income support
4. Universal Health Coverage
5. Sexual Health & HIV/AIDS
6. Medical student registration and mandatory reporting
7. Non- communicable diseases
8. Global Food and nutrition
The variety of policy is massive, ranging from monetary capacity, to mental health, to global health. It’s a great opportunity to up-skill yourself and have your voice heard.
FREE PIZZA and Sushi on the night as well as random prize draw for completing a survey (TBA).
Look forward to seeing you all there 🙂
Contact your AMSA reps Kavinda or Lauryn or Global Health rep Matt Kuo if you need more information.
